Before & After School Care (Ages 5–12)
At All God’s Children Learning Center, our Before & After School Program is designed to be a safe, engaging, and enriching extension of the school day for children ages 5 to 12. Whether families need early drop-off before school or support into the early evening hours, we provide a structured, fun, and nurturing environment where children can relax, connect, and grow.

Our goal is to partner with families and local schools to ensure each child transitions smoothly between home, school, and our center. We balance homework help, active play, and creative enrichment—encouraging confidence, independence, and kindness along the way.

Flexible Hours: Open from 2:45 PM to 5:30 PM to meet working parents' schedules.

Transition to School (Before Care)
Open at 2:45 PM for early birds. Children are welcomed into a calm and safe environment. Light breakfast and quiet activities help them start the day focused and refreshed. Staff ensure a smooth handoff to the school day, with transportation or walk-over options where applicable.
2. Pickup & Wind Down (After Care)
After school, children are greeted with a healthy snack and time to unwind. Staff connect with students and check in on their day—fostering a space where children feel seen and heard.
3. Homework Help & Quiet Time
Dedicated time and space for homework, reading, or quiet projects. Teachers provide guidance and support while encouraging independent responsibility.
4. Group Activities & Social Development
Children engage in themed group games, STEM challenges, and age-appropriate discussions. Our emphasis is on teamwork, respect, and friendship-building through guided activities.
5. Creative Time & Free Play
Students choose from a rotating selection of art supplies, building materials, board games, and dramatic play options.
This flexible time allows kids to decompress, follow their interests, and express themselves.
6. Outdoor Play & Physical Activity
Weather permitting, we provide daily outdoor time for active play. Whether it’s organized games, playground time, or nature walks—movement is an important part of a healthy day.
7. Pick-Up & Parent Communication
Parents receive updates through Brightwheel on their child’s mood, activities, and any homework notes. Staff are available for quick check-ins or to schedule more detailed updates. Children end their day with a personalized goodbye, reinforcing a strong sense of community.
